This week Paul dives into the Metal Gear Survive beta, as well as SteamWorld Heist and Slay the Spire. Jon starts up Iconoclasts, Bust-A-Move, and Guardian Heroes.
In news we talk some recent Switch port announcements, the February Games with Gold games, and the upgrade to the Xbox Game Pass.
It's the start of the new gaming year. The year of whatever video game dog you want apparently. All three of us are tired of Dragon Ball FighterZ's silly beta. Paul is also playing Blaster Master Zero. Sean continues with Assassin's Creed Origins, starts up Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice, and plays some Atomik: Run, Gun, Jump, Gun.
We got two weeks worth of news including the Nintendo Mini Direct, Nintendo Labo, Burnout Paradise Remaster only coming out in Japan, and the best 3DS peripheral.
It is finally time for the three of us to sit down and talk about video games. The best (and worst) video games in fact that came out (sometimes not) in 2017!
Happy New Year!
Jon is gone to MAGfest this week so Paul and Sean hold down the house. Paul has been playing Pyre, getting freaked out by Doki Doki Literature Club and revisting some classics like Skullgirls and Mega Man Legends while Sean gets sad at his ending of Bury Me, My Love and picks a bunch of stuff up in Tacoma,
In news, Hi-Rez is making a Paladins Battleground mode, the Nintendo Switch is super popular and has silly peripherals made for it.
Also, we rundown the Steam Award winners, go through episode titles and play a small game submitted by a listener.
If you want to hear Paul talk at length about Doki Doki Literature Club, you can do so here:
