Happy New Year!

Jon is gone to MAGfest this week so Paul and Sean hold down the house. Paul has been playing Pyre, getting freaked out by Doki Doki Literature Club and revisting some classics like Skullgirls and Mega Man Legends while Sean gets sad at his ending of Bury Me, My Love and picks a bunch of stuff up in Tacoma,

In news, Hi-Rez is making a Paladins Battleground mode, the Nintendo Switch is super popular and has silly peripherals made for it.

Also, we rundown the Steam Award winners, go through episode titles and play a small game submitted by a listener.

It's the last episode of the year! Paul has been catching back up with games from early 2017 to remind himself of their quality (stuff like Nioh, Horizon: Zero Dawn) and has been spending time over the holidays with his Switch. Jon, fresh off Yakuza 0 continues diving into that world with Yakuza Kiwami and Sean wraps up Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and argues that Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a scary game.

Not much news; Games With Gold and Playstation Plus games are announced for January and Nintendo delays 64GB gamecards until 2019.

It's been a heck of a year. Thank you all for continuing to support the show by listening every week, on Twitch and on Patreon and here's to an amazing 2018!

Sean is back to talk with Paul about why Pyre is his favorite Supergiant Games, how Layton's Mystery Journal is a lazy let-down and how Ticket to Earth is still a great mobile experience with its new update. Paul gets his hands on Destiny 2's beta on PC, finds out what Absolver is and gets his Monster Hunter on with Dauntless closed beta. They both agree that Sonic Mania is a great experience.

In news; Capcom is making a mobile Puzzle Fighter game, PayPal answers Switch users woes and Age of Empires 4 is a thing.

It's everyone's favorite time of year again! That's right! A bunch of game developers and publishers get together their best stuff, show us some videos and let us talk a bunch of crap about it! E3 happened again and, while Sean is away, Nathan "Old Host" Rohr joins Paul and Jon as they discuss some of the best and worst things in E3.

Oh, also, Nathan played a bunch of GoldenEye on the Nintendo 64. So there's that!

Sean is out of the continent and leaves the keys to Paul and Jon. Jon has been gone to Atlanta for awhile and as such has played a variety of smaller stuff such as River City: Tokyo Rumble, and Shantae & The Pirate's Curse while Paul has been playing a bunch of stuff with Nathan like Dark Souls 2 and... F. E. A. R. 3?

Not a lot of news since E3 is around the corner but Steam's Greenlight is dead, Nintendo releases some new Switch online information and Life is Strange prequel is leaked!

This week Paul doesn't play anything and bides his time for Resident Evil 7, however Jon brings the thunder with a whole bunch of games including Wild Guns Reloaded, FFXV and Power Rangers: Mega Battle. Sean has been playing some Rock Band 4 pro-drums and is starting Ace Attorney 5.

In news, more Nintendo Switch stuff, Fire Emblem is taking over the world and Swery65 starts his own studio.

**Apologies for the sound quality weirdness in some parts this week. My recording went weird and had to pull it from the stream. You can blame me, it's my fault. -Paul**

It's Thanksgiving! Sean is enjoying some family time with the girlfriend while Jon is out doing the same across the country (and unable to make it). Paul, being the Canadian he is, had no Thanksgiving but instead played a bunch of Resident Evil (3 specifically) and Rainbow Six Siege while Sean has been enjoying the heck out of Pokemon Sun while trying some new Overwatch content out.
