Top Down Perspective

Sean played and finished a lot of games this week, including VLR, Splatoon, Game of Thrones episode 4, and Life is Strange episode 3. Paul played the last one as well and tried out Elite: Dangerous.As for news we bring up a possible Need for Speed release date, the first Nintendo Humble Bundle, and stolen Amiibos.

Jon is away at MomoCon and Sean just continues to work through VLR. Paul plays a good chunk of Axiom Verge and tries out Dungeons and Dragons.The next Need for Speed game gets announced, a weird pack in deal with Splatoon is mentioned and we discuss the removal of the 8GB WiiU as an option in Japan.

A break in his apartment's water pipe makes Jon too busy this week. Sean however is here and continues to talk about VLR, he also checks out the latest update to Mario Kart 8 and plays some Pushmo World. Paul is trying out Axiom Verge.Nintendo announces a lot of their E3 plans, as well as their plans for smart phone games. Gears of War Remastered is leaked to some interesting outcomes. We also discuss the Ratchet and Clank reboot and the Bloodstained kickstarter.

Neither of us are playing too much right now, Paul isn't even here. Jon finishes Mortal Kombat X and Sean plays some Race the Sun and Monster Bag. We discuss the official announcements of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, the next Assassin's Creed, and Disney Infinity 3.0. We also bring up the PAX Prime ticket sales and the preorder situation for Rock Band 4.

Late recording this week as the crew spent Thursday night seeing The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Due to this, the first while is talk about that (no spoilers... promise!) but we get right into the game talk afterwards as Sean dances around in Crypt of the Necrodancer, rounds up llamas while skiing in Alto's Adventure and doesn't have much fun with Never Alone. Paul dives into the new Hero Siege DLC, bends some elements in Platinum's Legend of Korra game and gets down and dirty in the Dirty Bomb beta. Jon... well... Jon watched some hockey and streetpassed himself all week!In news, Konami implodes, Steam introduces paid mods and allows game developers to ban cheaters from their games, Yooka-Laylee by old Rare personnel destroys its Kickstarter goal and D4 is finally coming to PC!

There isn't really news this week so we just talk about what we've been playing. Jon tries out the new Mario Kart 8 DLC as well as Axiom Verge. Sean dips into his back log with OlliOlli 2 and finally starts VLR. Paul tries out Box Boy and continues with Killing Floor 2 and Titan Souls.

This week Sean plays through Box Boy and gets into the mobile version of Hearthstone. Paul does as well. He also plays Pillars of Eternity, GTAV for PC, and Titan Souls. Jon checks out the new Streetpass update and Mortal Kombat X.Guitar Hero makes an official return announcement this week, questionable micro transactions in MKX, and weird Sony-movie related plans.

Short show this week as we all only play one game (basically). Sean finally finishes off Codename S.T.E.A.M.... guess how that went! Paul dives into the new Hearthstone adventure "Blackrock Mountain" and Jon has a great time with Boxboy!In news, Nintendo doesn't want players talking to each other, Layton turns into a card game and LEGO has... surprise surprise, toys you can buy for their video games!

This week Paul's work keeps him too late to be on the show. Jon starts up Dragon Warrior 2 and Battleblock Theater. Sean plays through Game of Thrones episode 3 and the odd Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast and Furious.The news is main the recent Nintendo Direct but we also bring up Assassin's Creed Chronicles, Quantum Break's delay, and OnLIve officially ending.

Internet issues aside we are all together again. Sean and Paul play Hotline Miami 2, Life is Strange episode 2 and both finish Ori and the Blind Forest. Sean is also checking out Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 and Tales from the Borderlands episode 2. Jon continues with Pokemon Shuffle and returns to Payday 2.That Netflix Zelda rumor is proven false, Zelda WiiU gets pushed back out of 2015 and the updated Dark Souls 2 gets a price structure.

Paul is kind of in and out during this episode but everything is playing Ori and the Blind Forest. Sean finished Rainbow Curse and continues with STEAM. Jon continues with Pokemon Shuffle, plays the original Dragon Warrior and Mario Party 10.Nintendo announces that it is getting into the mobile gaming market, they also announce that they have started work on their next platform code named NX. Kojima leaves Konami and a few more episode game series get next installment announcements.

Jon returns from his couple week absence to tell us all about how he didn't play anything at PAX East. He has though been trying out Pokemon Shuffle, Star Tropics and finishing that Dragon Ball Z game. Paul didn't play much. Sean continues with Rainbow Curse, starts Code Name S.T.E.A.M. and is quite into Ori and the Blind Forest.Uncharted 4 gets pushed to 2016, the next PS4 firmware update will bring the promised suspend/resume feature, and the next single play Hearthstone expansion is announced.

Jon is away for the second week, this time attending PAX East. Sean finishes up Majora's Mask 3D and Evolve while continuing Desert Golf and starting Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. Paul tries out Black Hole, Republique Remastered and Trials Fusion. News is large with the Rock Band 4 announcement, everything from Valve at this year's GDC and March's PS+ games.

While Jon picks up and goes on his work trip, Sean has been playing some more Evolve and finally has the opportunity to get the most out of the Jackbox Party Pack when some friends come to visit! Paul has been building some intricate weapons in Beseige, stressing out adventurers in Darkest Dungeon and going full Barry-mode in Resident Evil Revelations 2.In the news: TellTale teams up with Lionsgate, new Guitar Hero coming and the golden Mario idol (I mean, amiibo) sells out instantly!

Sean is away this week so Paul and Jon do the only logical thing: take a whole lot of listener questions!Remember: if you don't like this episode... it's kind of your fault!

With Valentine's Day coming up, Jon gets in the mood by playing Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans and... Cliffhanger? Sean catches up with the newest episode of Game of Thrones TellTale game, Evolve on the Xbox One and Framed on the iOS while Paul plays Heroes of the Storm.Not much in the way of news other than Zelda might be coming to Netflix? Also, a whole bunch of questions!

Paul tries out Dark Deception, Castle in Darkness and Life is Strange (along with Sean). Jon is just continuing with his everlasting quest to play every Picross puzzle ever.Club Nintendo releases their final rewards, variant color Amiibos are on their way and Sony no longer own Sony Online Entertainment.

Back from his convention for a couple weeks before heading out again Jon has been playing nothing. Paul is trying out Dying Light and Fractured Space while Sean talks about Majora's Mask 3D and Duet Game.Nintendo starts it's partner program for YouTube streamers, the next Game of Thrones episode gets a release date and February's PS+ titles are announced.

This week Paul talks about the North American released of REsident Evil as well as HuniePop. Sean sticks to iOS this week with more Pair Solitaire, Spaceteam and Heads Up! Jon is away at MAGfest.Microsoft held their Windows 10 event and we discuss what relates to games. Nintendo decides to shut down Club Nintendo, and Harmonix is really hinting at a new Rock Band.

Games are barely starting to come out so it's mainly backlog stuff this week. Sean finishes Mordor while Jon plays some Picross 3D.
